Miss "Opposite Marriage"

I am starting to think Donald Trump's pageant franchise does not require intelligence as a prerequisite. First it was Miss Teen South Carolina back in 2007, and now Miss California with her charming beliefs on gay marriage. When asked about her stances regarding same sex marriage by judge Perez Hilton, an openly gay online celebrity blogger. She had the nerve to say, "We live in a land where Americans have the right to choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage.” 

First of all, what the hell is opposite marriage? I don’t know where the deluded beauty queen was during the outcome of this past election, but clearly she must have missed it. Proposition 8 was passed in her home state of California which took away the right for same- sex couples to marry. This was a right in which they already had been given in June of 2008, when the California Supreme Court affirmed the right for anyone to marry. From June to November, thousands of same- sex couples took advantage of this constitutional right and surprisingly the world did not crumble nor did the sanctity of marriage between man and woman.  It is so disappointing that we live in a country with people this ignorant. It is as simple as this... Do you not support gay marriage? Then don't get one, and get the fuck over it already.
